About Me

Accidental Masterpieces
I have come to 'serious' photography relatively recently. I was given a digital camera for my 40th birthday and this transformed the way I look at the world. I now find it almost impossible to consider stepping out of the door without a camera of some sort in my possession. I now find myself in a position where I deliberately leave the house with the intention of taking photographs, hoping to capture something special. It doesn't always work out that way, but some of the results can be seen on this site.

I live in the northwest of England (near Manchester), and spend a lot of time on the wonderful isle of Anglesey.

I have had enormous help from my good friend Phil Mann, and the members at the Wilmslow Guild Photo Society.

My family are also a big part of my work giving me support and encouragement.

I hope you enjoy my images.
